Here we have 8 different hacks that fix some of my major gripes with the wants. All are included in one zip archive for easier downloading, just grab the correct version for your latest game engine. Be sure to only install one of the Call to Chat mods.

No Instrument Want Spam
Stops sims from getting wants to buy the Guitar, Bass, and Drum Set. They can still get the piano want, and the play/perform wants are not affected either if you do buy the instruments. Use the version that starts with NL if you have Nightlife.

No Plant Want Spam
Stops sims from getting wants to buy outdoor plants, shrubs, and trees. These have got to be the stupidest wants in the game.

No Resurrect Want Spam
Sims will not get the want to resurrect a sim just because they were friends. They will only get the want if they are related (by blood or marriage), and only if they are a knowledge or family sim. Friends of the dearly departed can still get the zombie fear though.
Note: This is not compatible with Pescado's resurrect hack that is part of his Director's Cut.

Less Call to Chat/Invite Over Spam
Sims will only get these wants when it is worthwhile. Like when they are close to becoming friends or best friends, or they are friends and the relationship is low enough that a call/visit makes sense. Use the version that starts with NL if you have Nightlife. A version is also available that completely nukes these wants.

No Sports Party Want Spam
Completely stops the want for the worthless sports party.

No Personal Electronics Wants
Completely stops the wants for cell phones, MP3 Players, and Handhelds. NOTE: This is NOT compatible with JM Pescado's No Gizmo Wants hack.

No Dorm Car Want Spam
Only available in the OFB or higher archive(s), but may work with NL as well (not tested). Stops sims living in dorms from wanting to buy a car.

Buy Object Min Cost Want Hack
Only available in the OFB or higher archive(s), but may work with NL as well (not tested). Sims will no longer get the want to buy any games more expensive than $1800, or stereos more expensive than $2550. This will stop the buy a bowling alley and dj booth wants from appearing.
