Well, at least it wasn't an InTeen request...

Maybe a SimBlender that is base game compatible? :3

I think that is just wishful thinking, Missy Boo.  If your problem is that your system won't take a later expansion, I think if you were to add one of the Stuff Packs that use either the Pets or the AL game engine, you would be able to use the blender, and a stuff pack isn't such a resource hog as a whole expansion.

This page gives you a list with details of which stuff packs might work:

The Blender was developed to fill the void when the Insimenator wasn't available or updates were very slow for new EPs or something like that.  If you only have base game, go to Insimenator.org and pick up the Insimenator.  If you had one expansion, the Sim Manipulator, listed in the Shout Box, could work for you too.

[Huge unneeded quote removed by BoilingOil]

Sorry about quoting all your verbiage. One day I'll learn the correct procedures, that's not what I mean to talk about.. Anyway, I just want to thank you so much for the blender.
I was one of those who didn't enjoy the game, only because I didn't buy Sims 2 to be harassed to death by the Maxis Gods who play MY Sims the way They want the game to run and MY Sims to do what THEY want them to do. ..and think about it..who wants to spend all day and into the night to develop a relationship, learn one skill, etc.
So all I did was build, build, build (and download c.c.) eschewing the game mostly, because I resent Maxis' negative input in my game.  I built all my lots with indoor pools (after learning all the negative input Maxis creates when a Sim attempts to use the pool) - anything to avoid more Maxis annoyances.
Then someone at MTS suggested 'THE Blender'.
Once downloaded, I once again am playing the game, after years of not doing so, and I have enjoyed it immensely, thanks to you. I am certain there's so many people out there  who feel the same as I. Now just about the only way Maxis ruins my game is with those thunder claps and burning trees.  Did ya ever notice how one of your Sims puts a plate down on the floor (just a tad out of your point of view) and suddenly you're over-run with roaches? ..If they'd only put those negative creations on the back burner and worked on   their own problems within the game.

The correct procedure would be NOT to quote what you do not need, but to press the "Reply" button below the last post in the thread. Does that help? :)
