Doh, the College Adjustor! I have that darn thing, and I forget..  :biglaugh:

I am trying to wean away from Insim because the creator hasn't updated Insim since he released the FT version awhile back and hasn't addressed the serious issues with FT and Insim. The lack of acknowledgement on his part only tells me that he has far more important things to take care of in RL, but that is no problem at all. Just that I am not using Insim as much as I used to. Used to be the only thing to have to have until Sim Blender.

I will be fine with the School options on the College Adjustor. Just wanted to see the Cure/Make options on Sim Blender if that is possible because I use those primarily for home and commerical lots as well as hotel lots.

If there was one Pescado mod I'd say I couldn't live without, it would be the FFS Debugger, if only for the clearing of attraction markers and gossip.  Since it also has the cure function, and I'd say that a good few of the people here use it, it seems to me that TJ is being asked to waste time on something that has already been done..... and is compatible.  Insim stuff which hasn't been updated and has no alternative mod is another matter.

I've posted a new version of the Blender. All of the items in green in the first post have been added. I've still got a few more I'm working on adding.

A way to get a Sim out of Freetime-induced Perma-plat, or a way to raise/lower the Lifetime Aspiration Bar so we can reset it before it gets too close to the top.

I second adding hobby enthusiasm points (I've forgotten who requested it). And I'd love to be able to add the parenting skill as well to the skill section.

If this is possible, I would like marry you and have like 10 million of your babies. (Not really, but this demonstrates how very, very much I want this. ) I would love a way to set a per Sim career level cap. I am playing a hood where only people with degrees may advance past certain career levels. I have some "tech school" grads who can advance farther than uneducated Sims, but not as far as real Uni Sims. It would be awesome for me to be able to set it and forget it and not worry that if they get that one cleaning point or whatever, that they will be promoted. Is this even possible?

Agreed, but I just thought if there were some, they might also come in handy, for sims who are so far down the social scale the only job they can have is refuse collector or street sweeper......

I added it to the list. It would require a separate global mod to work, but it could be done.

   Appearance/Sim Name/Clothing

Add Work and if applicable Private School?

The change into work clothes thingy is icky to try to do for anyone but the active sim. There just isn't a good way to do it without pushing it as an interaction to all sims which is annoying because it would just drop out of queue on half the sims or interrupt whatever they are doing.

It's not impossible to do otherwise, but the coding involved just ain't worth it to get your sim into that lovely french fry outfit. X)

Well actually I only intended to suggest it as an option for the active sim... Must be bad wording on my part. I figured though, that it would not be something worth pursuing since I have never seen it as an option anywhere.

The Blender lets you copy the first name of a sim, and make it into a surname.  For the purpsoe you've described you can use Christianlov's LastNameCopier http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=289073 It works with all EPs up to FT.  It lets you copy the surname of any sim on the lot, to any other sim on the lot (including babies).

I have a request. The only reason I still use insim is for the career adjuster. There is a feature on there that let you adjust customer stars in a business setting. I only do businesses when its a sim want so when I do do them I really hate trying to build up customer stars I'd rather hurry to level 10 business and forget about it.

If this could be added I can get rid of the extra hack

I hope that made sense!

Now that we have the remove furiousness feature, um....could you add a 'make furious' option?  It'd be great to be able to make a simmie furious with another for story telling purposes, so I was wondering if it's not way too much trouble if you could squeeze this option in there too.

I have another request, and rather than put it in both threads I'll just put it here. Is there a way to make the object spawned stay the same until we decide to change it again, rather than it resetting itself when you shut down the game? And also, can you make the choices into a pie-menu?
Now, a question of etiquette - as I pass, do I give you the ass or the crotch?

Thanks so much for telling me about this painting!  It works great and now my children of unmarried parents can have the dad's name if I choose. Also, you can borrow a last name from visitors as well as household members.

Is there a way to change last names if the parents aren't married but you want the child to have the dad's last name?  I know first names can be changed.

I don't think so, I have often thought it would be nice to be able to save a default state for the VC/ACR objects as opposed to the now default set of Phone books. Even if I had to use SimPE to do so.

Edit: How about instead of cycling through the appearance choices, another pie opened with the choices listed. This would cut down the number of times you have to click through the menu to get the appearance desired.

TJ, it is saved at the last object type you changed to, until you close the game.  Although the current objects stay as they are, when you adjust VC or ACR to spawn a new controller, it returns to the default phonebooks, so you have to go through the process again.

Yes, so that each time someone moves into a new house the appearance has to be set (unless you want the phonebooks!).  I always use the same plant (as I imagine a lot of people do), so that I can readily spot my ACR adjuster in each household, so setting it once for all would be great!!   :cheese:  Pretty please?!   :love2:  *SQ is not above begging* :cheese:  Psst, zz, what are you waiting for - whip out one of those lucious cakes you seem to pull out on a moment's notice (like sims with a fishing rod/mop/garden rake/cooking spoon/sponge - you get the idea! )

Not sure if it's possible to have it 'remember' your default selection. I have thought of a way to do it, but it would be kludgy. The pie menu is possible, I'll think about that. I can also change the default object from the phone books to something else; that's something I've been thinking about doing anyway.

Personally, I'd like that, I usually have them all match anyway, so if they matched the blender, I'd be more than happy with that.

As long as it's not a tacky plastic plant!  :cheese:

But anyways, I agree that some other options to change the appearance of the Blender would be nice.

What would be really cool would be if they could all look like the creeping ivy!  But at least they don't have to stay in the attic or under the house like the batman box and macrotastics!

As long as TJ doesn't get the idea for poison ivy!  :biglaugh:

Anything is fine as long as I can spot it off the bat and know it's the Blender.

Oh, I usually know by where they are - I tend to stick them near the front door if I can, otherwise it's on the veranda.
