Getting Started with ACR
« on: September 07, 2010, 04:08:02 PM »
Hello there!
So I have all the EP's up to AL (excluding Freetime) and I have inteen and some other hacks and I recently just installed ACR (am I supposed to install the ACR documantaion files also?) ... Now I have read lots of the topics under here but I still am slightly confused..
I get the casual pie menu and that works just dandy but as for The One and settings.. well I have no idea where any of that is and/or how to change/set any of it.
Do I need to spawn something? And if so what...
Also what all does ACR do?
Thank you so much for breaking this all down for me.. I couldn't seem to find a ACR for Beginners forum ;)

No, you don't install the documentation, you read it.....

When you download it it includes a .rtf file that explains what it does.  No one is going to "break it all down for you" when there is documentation you can read.

http://www.simbology.com/smf/index.php?topic=19.0  Scroll down to where it says ACR - Documentation - English.zip.

Read the documentation before asking folks what a mod does.

I am very sorry! I did in fact try and read the docs. but my compter was telling me that the file was unopenable.. turns out I had to manually switch over what Word pad can and cannot open. Sorry for wasting your time I'm off to go read those files! Thank you anyway though

There is a "ACR adjuster" that you can spawn on residential lots & community lots (on community lots, it can also be bought in build mode).  Click on your active sim and look for it in the menu (under adjust).
