OK...flog me...castrate me (impossible, since I'm female), whatever. I've been gone for a long time. And I sincerely apologize. But I have a problem that only you guys can help me with. I remember in my Inteen Beta Tester Days, being told that pregnancy was possible with woohoo via the original game frome EAxis, WITHOUT any hacks. Can someone please tell me if I'm remembering wrong?

There has always been pregnancy with woohoo for adults from the base game on... just none for teens or YAs.

okay zolabee, I don't know you, but I can see by your number of posts that you are NOT a noob. So...to clarify...In the Sims 2 game.....you CAN get pregnant from WOOHOO only, with no other hacks installed? Thanks very much.

Yep... you may have to "try for baby" but it still takes woohoo with no hacks... in the bed and the photobooth *unless that didn't come until NL*

No dear...the whole point is...I don't want to "try for baby". I want my sim to get preggers by "Woohoo" ONLY. I thought that was clear in my post. I thought I remembered this actually happening many moons ago, when I was a beta tester for Inteen. Either there is a small percentage of chance for preg with "woohoo" (with no hacks installed) or not, it's very simple.

In an game without mods, pregnancy through using the woohoo options was not possible. Mods were created to allow risky woohoo. Risky woohoo was also incorporated into Inteen and ACR. But unmodded, there was no risky woohoo.

There is no sign of risky WooHoo in the EAxis code from what I can tell. In order to get pregnant, some form of Try for Baby must be used.

To achieve the "risky woohoo" in InTeen we added all the TFB code into the regular WooHoo loop then tweaked the constants down to use a very small % chance.

I certainly don't remember it from the Base Game, and back then I used very few mods.

In developing LFOS, I had to look closely at the code for woohoo and TFB. Without a mod, TFB is the only way to get pregnant. Well, there is the telescope, but let's not talk about that

If you want that risky woohoo behavior, you have three choices:
syberspunk's Risky Woohoo (MATY),
Inteen,
Twojeffs Autonomous Casual Romance (ACR).

There is a 4th option, but it's on a lot by lot basis, Lizzlove's Love Bed, which is also autonomous.

I so don't remember the 'play in bed' feature in Sims 1. But it has been nearly 5 years since I've played Sims 1.

I really don't understand the teen rating of the Sims 2. It's pretty vanilla without mods.

And I know this is unrelated to the OP's original questions, but females can be castrated.

Yeah, I know. I was being silly since it is a heavy topic.

I had several courses in Woman's Studies in collage, and this would come up a lot. Woman taking in their pre-pubescent daughters to get it done at back door facilities since it has been outlawed in a lot of countries. But there are still a lot of countries that still allow it.

I couldn't even consider it or understand a mother's motivations in having it done to her daughter, but I also did not grow up a society that would even allow it.

I believe in a lot of countries where it's still practised, it is actually against the law, just not enforced very well. And the biggest culprits are often not the men (fathers, brothers etc.) but the grandmothers!
