Note: If there are multiple versions of a mod (i.e. Perfect Plants/Perfect Gardens) if ONE is on the list assume ALL to be borked until stated otherwise.

Those mods not on the list have no obvious changes that affect them so they should be ok to use without blowing anything up. There may be downstream changes that could however cause weirdness with one of the 'clean' mods. Make sure to post if you notice anything out of the ordinary.

Maybe not -- there's rumors of another stuff pack coming (kids stuff, I think).  Given the nonsense with the IKEA pack, the modders may still have a few fixes in the pipeline.

Pescado claims they've made some changes that suggest they may be preparing for another add-on of some sort.  He was rather cynically speculating that they  might continue to try to milk TS2 for all it's worth even after TS3 is out.  :p

Not sure if this is completely the wrong place, but DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE CURRENT SIMPE FOR EDITING SIMMIES.  Their data files have extra fields with this EP and any attempt to edit anything about your characters will corrupt your neighborhood file.

I don't think SimPE will open with the new EP will it?  I have played around with the game a little but that is it no Sims PE.  Can't wait until everything is working again but I am sure it is a lot of work to update everything.

It'll open, but you get a warning notice about the new EP.  It's okay to use it for stuff like object recolors (though it may not recognize the new EP stuff;) just leave Sims and hoods alone until it's updated.

As long as we keep playing TS2, we'll always have tons of demands on TJ.  I can think of a dozen ideas for new mods for the current game off the top of my head.  Oh no, TJ.....there is no end. Ever!  You're stuck with we TS2 whiners for life!

well that gives me an great excuse to put off installing AL    although I will be so busy trying to build playable apartments and stuff, I won't have time to actually play anyway...

I may 'pull a ZephyrZodiac' on AL -- buy it, but not install it for quite some time.  Definitely won't install it until all the critical hacks I use are updated, and maybe not until EAxis gets a patch out to fix some of the native borkedness that's been found.

And even though I left it so long, I'm still getting minor problems, haven't tried BV although it's installed, but nothing major has happened to bork the game yet!

I had to reinstall everything because after my custom sims vanished, I quit the game and re-loaded it.  It crashed anytime I tried to load a neighborhood after that, not sure why.  But I tried removing the download folder, that didn't seem to do the issue.  Seems like the exe got corrupted.

Regarding hacks I am doing it the other way round this time. I kept most of it in and wait for the features of AL which will surface when the hacks are updated, because I care more for the hacks than the features.
Having to wait only a short time, I can actually get some amusement out of the ACR errors. How often did I have to wait for my sims to stop pillow fights and congratulating to get into some ACR action. Not at the moment. Since Ms. Crumplebottom put the boot in to curb the immoral behaviour in the neighbourhoods (I tell you, it's her!), my sims must have realised how much they like it.
There was this one townie yesterday - Brittany - when I sent one of my playables downtown and she was drawn towards to sims, Kapcer, and a teen boy, Edward. I must have gotten 20 - 30 error messages related to them. It was like: "Brittany Error", "Edward Error", "Brittany Error", "Kapcer Error", "Brittany Error", "Brittany Error", "Edward Error", etc. etc. Eventually she went into the photobooth with Kapcer and I thought this would quench her desire, but apparently Kapcer was not up to the task, because the errors continued afterwards. It was a little bit annoying, but much more funny. Poor girl.
Only Ms. Crumplebottom, who happened to be present as well, smiled happily to herself.

Wait and get the cracked .exe and then remove secuROM.  (BTW when I was installing FT I actually SAW the little bugger being installed - I recognised the weird files from when I had to clean up SecuROM before.)

I hope you have a SimPE back up or two of your hood that's not too long ago.

As is painfully obvious by the lack of new uploads, I made very little progress last night. Too many interruptions to get anything done, plus I was just trying to figure out some of the new stuff and how it might impact mods. I haven't even launched the game yet.

Not much is going to happen tonight either since I won't be home so don't look for any AL compatible stuffeths until tomorrow.

I miss the full working ACR the best.  Also, the VC needs a ban socialites option as banning townies or downtownies doesn't work.  The waiting just makes us all realize how much we appreciate what TJ and the others do to "fix" our games.

Or TJ's Sim Blender, which also has the option for your sim to get pregnant by any other sim. I've taken to using that for my gay couples rather than the global hack.

   I keep forgetting about the blender having the option because it doesn't work on campus, well pregnancies started with it on campus are stuck and do not advance.

I had forgotten how completely stupid the sims are without your Social Sanity Fixes, but playing without it for a day has reminded me of how MUCH less fun this game would be without you.  My roommate is about to piss herself, her hunger is down to 20%, and what is she doing?  She's trying to hug people who hate her guts because she's ALREADY tried to hug them half a dozen times, and each time they reject her, they hate each other more.  Her social is full, because my sim has been talking with her, but she's still trying to hug people.

Did I mention that new EP's give us an occasion to realize just how fabulous your mods are? :-)

I may be playing russian-roulette with my game here, but I haven't noticed any errors in relation to the No Pet Obssession and No Baby Swarming mods. Those were the two borked mods that I refused to take out.. I simply cannot play without them, lol. Been playing the new EP awhile now and haven't noticed any problems with them. I suppose I will just continue to leave them in until the fixes are released..unless I notice something completely askew. I was pleased to notice that Play Sanity is not on the list, as I cannot live without that one either.

Thanks for your wonderful mods, TJ, and all the work you put into keeping this game tolerable for all of us.

I miss the Trips and Quads. Single births are so boring. However the Visitor Controller is sorely missed too. I am playing in my own hood - not a cleaned up template, just one of those the game generates if you ask it to - and there are so many townies. I keep seeing new ones walking by and they look stupid too e.g. an elder with long black hair. The game is grabbing my custom hair for everyone. All the stupid townies mean that I hardly see my own playables walking by. 

Not whining ,TJ. Just letting you know how much appreciated your mods are.

The new social classes are families 7FDF to 7FE3 inclusive, but I don't know which is which yet.
