I think the point that AH was making, really, was that each EP you add to your game adds a certain depth to the whole gaming experience, but you are not forced to, for instance, have every sim family involved in all the various possibilities - so you could have a farming family, a small business family or two, or a wealthy family that spends a lot of time on vacation, but apart from the occasional want which wouldn't be fulfilled, you can select which bits you want for each family/sim.

If a mod isn't compatible, your game won't run properly. It might not even load. Like Zaleth said, if it's one of mine, download the updated version.

well... reading AH my idea to stop at OFB gets stronger, LOL... if are all things you can live without but that cause a lot of work and (maybe) also problems... why installing them ? Problem there is that there is so many positives to the later EPs also so you miss out there. I have bought from EBay and Amazon. It's all in the reputation. |

I've bought secondhand books through Amazon (usually because they were out of print) and never had a problem. I think if you use one of the retailers who are attached to Amazon, rather than a private seller, you would have the same rights as with any other retailer.

If I have one of the mods installed that is listed as not compatible with the new patch, should I remove that mod from my game? Will these mods be updated to be compatible with the new patch?

The goal is to make it so that sims will not perform the Games idle animation unless they have max enthusiasm in that hobby. Since most sims play games, virtually all sims have Games enthusiasm and perform the aforementioned animation, which entails stretching out one hand, a pain-induced moan and the sound of crackling bones. It drives me up the wall. You know, I never realised that this is the hobby animation for games. I thought it was a gesture teenagers do when they are embarrassed/too shy to approach someone they like. |
